Patrick is from Abilene, Texas and graduated from Cooper High School. He is active in his community and is a member of both the Masonic Lodge and Shrine Clun. He actively supports the Scottish Rite Hospital for Children and Shrine Hospital for Children. He is an active member of TASO (Texas Association of Sports Officials), and officiates High School football, baseball and Little League in his spare time. He also enjoys golfing, hunting, fishing, motor sports, and is a life-long Dallas Cowboys and Texas Rangers fan.
